  • Welcome from ULPC!

    Dear Potential New Member,
Let me first welcome you to the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. College will undoubtedly be one of the most fun and enriching experiences of your life. Our campus gives its students the opportunity to get involved in countless organizations that interest them. Becoming involved on campus will help make your college experience one to remember and one of the best ways to do this is by becoming a member of UL’s Greek community.

Becoming a member of a sorority has given so many women the opportunity to grow socially, academically, and personally. It truly is an experience like no other.
Many activities the sororities participate in each year allow its members to help out in the community and fund raise for organizations such as Boys and Girls Club, Girl Scouts, St Jude’s Cancer Research, Children’s Play Therapy, American Cancer Society, Prevent Child Abuse America, Children’s Miracle Network, Muscular Dystrophy Association, and Juvenile Arthritis Research.  Academically, sorority women at UL greatly exceed the All-Women’s GPA and are more likely to graduate than non-greek women.

But one of the most rewarding things that sororities have to offer is friendship. Being Greek creates friendships that will last a lifetime and for me this is the most rewarding part of being in a sorority. It has allowed me to grow more than I ever thought I could, and I hope you let it do the same for you.

I hope you will take advantage of all of the things that Greek-life has to offer by signing up for sorority recruitment.   I’m so glad you have chosen UL and hope to see you soon.
