    Welcome from the President

Welcome to Greek Life at the University of Louisiana, Lafayette.  I am very proud to represent our Greek community and all that we have to offer through the Greek experience.  We have an incredibly strong Greek system, and I hope that you will explore the opportunity to become a part of Greek life at UL.  Twenty chapters represent Greek Life and comprise our three councils, which are the Interfraternity Council, the College Panhellenic Council and the National Pan-Hellenic Council.

Greeks are a positive presence around campus and the Greek experience has much to offer students that choose to be part of it:

Academics – the fraternities and sororities continually perform above the non-Greek student average.

Philanthropy – Each year fraternities and sororities raise thousands of dollars to benefit local, state, national and world charitable causes.

Leadership – The Greek community is committed to shaping our future leaders

through a variety of leadership opportunities.

Involvement – Greeks are involved!  They participate in intramurals, athletics,

religious services, student government social events and cultural programs.

Unity – Greek life creates opportunities for Chapters to work together and

    improve relationships between diverse organizations.

Community – Members of our chapters are always willing to lend a hand where

     needed in our local community.

I hope you take time to research all that the Greek community at UL has to offer.  Greek life offers a lifelong bond of brotherhood and sisterhood and is a lifetime commitment.  Come and join our Greek community and expand your horizons. You will be glad you did. GO GREEK!

    In Greek Unity,

    Sara Hart
